Lace lingerie

In this collection, you'll find everything that has lace in its composition or trim: bras, briefs, thongs, Brazilian briefs, bodysuits, slips, and nightgowns. Lace serves two functions in lingerie: it decorates and, if it's elastic and thin, it allows for finishing edges without elastic that would show under clothing.

The type of lace changes the character of the item. Elastic lace with added elastane conforms to the body, is soft, and forgives sizing errors. Stiffer lace holds its pattern and looks better in decorative models, but requires a more precise fit and can be noticeable with prolonged wear.

For sensitive skin, choose models where the lace is only on the outer layer, with a smooth lining against the body, and always with a cotton gusset in the crotch.

Lace does not tolerate high temperatures or rough companions in the washing machine: wash at 30 degrees Celsius in a mesh bag, without spinning, and dry flat. Fasten hooks and eyes before washing. Shipping in 1-2 business days, free delivery for orders over PLN 199, returns within 14 days.

Lace serves two functions at once: it decorates and - if well chosen - disappears under clothing. That's why lace lingerie can be both a set for a special evening and the most practical choice under a tight dress, where the edge of cotton briefs would show a distinct line.

It's worth understanding the differences between types of lace. Stretch lace adapts to the body and forgives minor size differences, making it the best choice for everyday wear. Stiff, jacquard lace holds its shape and gives cups a defined form, but is less forgiving with weight fluctuations. Chantilly laces are thin and decorative, but more delicate when washing. A separate category is seamless, glued, or laser-cut finishes, used in underwear that is invisible under clothing.

What should you look out for when buying? Check that the lace at the leg opening or the upper edge of the cup isn't too narrow - a narrow, tightly pulled finish digs into the skin and creates a bulge. In bras, pay attention to the cup lining: lace lined with mesh is less scratchy and holds its shape better. If your skin reacts to synthetics, look for models with a cotton gusset in the crotch.

Care determines how many seasons such a set will last. Wash lace by hand or in a laundry bag on a delicate cycle, at a low temperature, without bleach or fabric softener - the latter weakens the elastane in the fibers. Drying flat, away from radiators, prevents cup deformation.
