Size 90D combines a wide band with a medium-capacity cup, with a difference of about seventeen centimeters. With such a wide band, the weight is distributed over a large area of the back, which usually means comfort, but also requires the bra to have an adequately long underwire. An underwire that is too short ends before the armpit line, and then tissue bulges out at the side, even if the cup seems to fit.

In this size, a three-row hook-and-eye closure and a raised side work well. Thanks to them, the bra does not dig into the back or create a roll above the band, which with a wider band often happens due to an incorrectly chosen panel width.

When purchasing, pay attention to how the straps are positioned. Straps sewn close to the shoulders are more likely to slip off on wider backs; versions set closer to the spine hold better. Adjustment should be on both sides, as differences between the left and right breast are usually more noticeable in this range.

Sizes with a similar cup volume are 85E and 95C.
