This is the most comfortable category of lingerie for a long day, for travelling, for sleeping and for the period after surgery, when the pressure of a wire is unpleasant.

Without underwires the bust sits more naturally and slightly lower than in a moulded style. If you want support on a larger cup, look for styles with a full cup made from several panels, a wide band under the bust and a fastening on three rows of hooks - these features transfer the weight onto the band.

The collection includes smooth and cotton styles for every day, lace bralettes with no fastening and sports versions pulled on over the head. Cotton suits sensitive skin, microfibre is thinner and does not show under clothing, and lace gives a finish for going out.

Choose your size by the band: it should pull away from your back by two fingers and no more. Measure styles without a fastening by the brand's letter sizing, because stretch fabric forgives half a size either way. Orders over PLN 199 ship free, and you have 14 days to return your order.

The collection covers more than a hundred and thirty styles across a very wide range: from 65AA to 105C, plus letter sizes from XS to XXL. About a quarter are made from microfibre, which gives a smooth surface under knitted tops; the rest are mainly polyamide with elastane and cotton bralettes. Seam-free soft cups leave no outline under clothing, while versions with a horizontal seam support better and hold their shape longer.

Which style to choose

A non-wired bra holds the bust through the construction of the fabric alone: a wider band underneath, the seams of the cup and a denser knit in the lower part of the cup. There is no metal wire, so nothing presses on the breastbone or leaves a mark under the arm, but the support is softer and shapes less than in underwired styles.

How to choose your size

This type of lingerie is usually chosen for home, for the night, during pregnancy and after surgery, and also whenever underwires dig in whatever the size. On larger cups, look for styles with wide straps, a high side panel and a fastening on at least three rows of hooks, because these take over the work of the wire.
