Bras cup E

A cup E means a difference of about 20 centimetres between the bust circumference and the underbust circumference. In British sizing, this usually corresponds to DD. In practice, the letter describes the difference in circumferences, not the absolute size of the breasts: the same cup size with an underbust of 70 and 90 means a completely different volume.

From this size upwards, support depends mainly on the band, not on the straps. Choose models with full cups, a high side under the armpit, and wide straps. Push-ups usually interfere because they add volume to the top of the breasts.

Check the size with two measurements: measure the underbust tightly, on exhalation, and the bust loosely, at its widest point. The difference indicates the letter, the underbust circumference - the number. Each size has corresponding sister sizes: the same bust will also fit in a band one size smaller with a higher letter and in a band one size larger with a lower letter. If your size is temporarily unavailable in a particular model, this is the first place to check.

The band under the bust should lie horizontally and be able to be pulled out by two fingers, the underwire should lie on the ribs, not on the breast, and the straps should not leave marks. Wash in a laundry bag at 30 degrees, fastened, and dry flat. Free delivery from PLN 199, returns within 14 days.

An E cup signifies a difference of approximately 20-22 centimeters between the bust measurement and the underbust measurement. The letter alone tells you nothing about breast volume until you pair it with the band size: 70E and 90E represent a completely different amount of fabric in the cup, even with the same measurement difference.

In this collection, we have gathered several dozen models with this letter, in band sizes from 65 to 105. Most of them feature lace, and a significant portion are soft constructions, without stiff foam. This is typical for this range: with an E cup, manufacturers more often opt for a seamed cup with a lace upper panel than molded foam, because a transverse seam better distributes weight.

If you are just transitioning to this cup size from a smaller one, expect that not only the cup will change, but also the feel on your back. At this volume, the band carries most of the weight, so it should be noticeably snug and fastened on the loosest row of hooks in a new bra to allow for stretching.

Sister sizes work the same here as everywhere else: if you go down one band size, go up one cup size; if you go up one band size, go down one cup size. You can check neighboring cup volumes in D cup and F cup, and a wider selection of models in large sizes.
