Padded bras

A padded bra has a foam or molded cup that holds its shape even when taken off the body. The breast is enclosed and smoothed in it, so that nipples do not show through a thin blouse - this is the most common reason why this style is bought for work and fitted clothes.

Padding is not the same as push-up: the cup has an even thickness over its entire surface and does not lift the bust, but only gives it a round shape. Smooth microfiber versions are the most neutral under clothing, while models with lace on top combine smoothing with a decorative finish.

This style requires an exact size, because the stiff cup will not adapt to the bust. Fabric puckering at the top means the cup is too large, while breast spillage at the sides or top means it is too small. In both cases, check the sister size, i.e., the same band size with an adjacent letter.

Wash in a bag at 30 degrees and dry flat. Do not fold the cups into each other, as the foam will crease permanently. Shipping in 1-2 business days, free delivery from PLN 199, returns within 14 days.

A padded bra has a foam cup that maintains its shape whether it is worn or not. It is the most predictable design for knitwear and thin blouses: the surface is smooth, the nipple is invisible, and the bust line is even even if the breasts differ in size.

In this collection, sizes range from 65 to 105 in band and B to G in cup, with over half of the models having matching briefs in the same series. Foam can be of two types: rigid, maintaining a round shape, and thin thermoformed foam, which partially conforms to the body. The former requires a precise size, as it does not forgive excess or insufficient volume.

A clear sign that the cup is too large is that an empty space forms between the breast and the upper edge of the cup, which collapses under clothing. A cup that is too small gives the opposite symptom, i.e., tissue spilling out over the edge. In both cases, change the letter, and leave the band size as long as the band lies horizontally and can be pulled two fingers away from the back.

Wash foam cups by hand or in a laundry bag and dry flat, as creasing the foam is irreversible. A milder version of this design can be found in semi-padded models, and a wider range of sizes in plus sizes. Before ordering, recalculate the band sizes according to the size chart.
