Semi-padded bras

A semi-padded bra is a compromise between a soft cup and full padding. The insert is thin, usually only present in the lower part of the cup or along the underwire. It provides just enough stiffness to give the bust a rounded shape and prevent nipples from showing through, without adding volume.

This is a good choice when full foam feels too thick and warm, and a completely soft cup doesn't provide enough support. It works well all year round, even in summer, because the thin layer of material heats up less than a molded cup.

Pay attention to the cup construction: models with a horizontal seam dividing the cup lift the bust higher, while those with a diagonal seam push it inward. The underwire should enclose the entire breast and end at the armpit – if it cuts into breast tissue, the band or cup size is incorrect.

The collection includes smooth models and those with lace inserts, in everyday and more decorative versions. Hand wash or machine wash in a laundry bag at 30 degrees. Free delivery from PLN 199, returns within 14 days, shipping within 1-2 business days.

Semi-padded models are a compromise between a soft cup and a strongly moulded one. The padding here is thin, often only in the lower part of the cup, so the bra gives a slight shape, but does not impose its own form and does not add volume like a push-up.

When does such a choice make sense? Primarily when you want to avoid nipple show-through under a thin blouse, but at the same time you don't want stiff foam. It also works well in summer - a thin layer heats up less than full moulding.

What to pay attention to when buying? Whether the padding is permanently sewn in or inserted into a pocket - the latter version allows you to remove it and change the character of the model. Also, pay attention to the edge of the cup: a thin layer folds more easily, so the hemming should be flat. And to the underwire, because it, and not the padding, is responsible for support.

If you are looking for stronger moulding, see padded models, and if you want full softness - wireless bras. The correct number will be indicated by your own measurement read from the size chart.

It's also worth remembering about washing. Thin foam does not tolerate high temperatures or high-speed spinning - it creases and after drying, it is left with a fold that cannot be straightened out. A laundry bag and flat drying solve this problem.
