This is an intermediate size: the band is already wide, so it provides a lot of support on its own, and the cup is moderate enough that there is still a wide choice of styles.

With a wider band, a common problem is the rolling up of the bottom edge. A wide elastic band and a straight-cut back panel, without a deep cut-out, prevent this. If the band still rolls up despite being the correct size, it can also be caused by an overly tightened strap pulling the back upwards.

Sister sizes are 85D and 95B. When changing sizes, the band length changes, but the cup volume remains similar.

For everyday wear, full-cup and semi-padded styles are comfortable, as the cup provides support without dictating shape. For fitted blouses, a smooth molded cup will be better, while for sweaters and looser styles, lace is a lighter option that heats up less.
