Bathrobes

A bathrobe is worn after bathing and at home instead of a sweater. The difference between models comes down to the material and weight, which determine whether the bathrobe absorbs water or merely covers.

Terry cloth and cotton velour absorb water and can replace a towel – the higher the weight, the warmer and heavier the bathrobe. Fleece knit and microfiber are warm and dry quickly, but don't absorb as well. Satin, viscose, and silk models are light and cool, chosen in summer and as a layer over pajamas, not after a shower.

Pay attention to the length and width of the overlap. A bathrobe that barely meets in the front will gape open – a well-tailored one has a wide, overlapping front and a belt threaded through loops, not loosely stitched on. A hood adds warmth, but can be unnecessary when drying hair.

Choose a size larger, as the bathrobe should wrap around freely. Wash terry cloth at 60 degrees, satin and viscose at 30. Shipping in 1-2 business days, free delivery from PLN 199, returns within 14 days.

A bathrobe is an item of loungewear chosen primarily for its absorbency and weight. Terrycloth, a looped knit fabric, absorbs water best and is a natural choice after a bath. Velour has the same base but with a cut loop – it's smoother and more pleasant to the touch, though slightly less absorbent.

Lighter options include viscose and satin bathrobes. They are not for drying, but rather are airy, cool, and serve well as a cover-up over pajamas in summer. Fleece models provide the most warmth with the least weight, but do not absorb water.

Comfort is also affected by grammage – the higher it is, the heavier and more absorbent the bathrobe, but the longer it takes to dry. For daily use, it's worth checking the sleeve length and the presence of pockets, as well as whether the belt has loops, because without them it constantly shifts.

In the collection, you will find models from brands Key, Henderson, and Kleo, in women's and men's versions. It's worth choosing pajamas to complete the set. Wash terrycloth at 40-60 degrees without fabric softener, which can clog the loops and reduce absorbency.

When choosing a size, remember that a bathrobe is worn over pajamas or directly on the skin after bathing, so it should have extra room in the shoulders and hips. A model that is too fitted will gape when sitting down and restrict movement when drying off.
