Grandma and Grandad Day on 21 and 22 January: which gift to choose?

Grandma's Day falls on 21 January and Grandad's Day on 22 January. It is the middle of winter, so warm things work well: socks with wool, merino, a pyjama set or a nightdress.

Looking for something practical rather than another ornament for the shelf? Choose a ready-made set: it arrives in a single parcel, so you order once. Order a few days ahead, because delivery time depends on the carrier.

A shared gift for grandma and grandad from the grandchildren

If you are buying together with siblings or cousins, choose a set for a couple: 2 pairs of women's wool socks and 2 pairs of men's non-binding ones, or merino socks for a couple, women's and men's, from Cerber. These sets cost around PLN 73–104, so they are easy to split between several people. Wool and merino socks are also collected in wool socks, and ideas up to PLN 100 in gifts under PLN 100.

A gift for Grandma's Day: nightdress and cosy socks

For grandma there are viscose nightdresses and pyjamas by Verde Veronica, Intima nightdresses by Sielei and a Key nightdress, each paired with socks. There are also socks-only sets: 2 pairs of grandma-style wool socks, 4 pairs of jacquard wool socks, or non-slip ABS terry socks. Sets for grandma start at around PLN 59.

You will find more nightdresses in nightdresses, the whole range in Verde Veronica, and gifts for other occasions in gifts for grandma.

A gift for Grandad's Day: merino, Medic and Key pyjamas

Give grandad 5 pairs of non-binding merino socks or Medic bamboo socks with terry, and for a more ceremonial gesture a striped or checked Key pyjama set. Sets for grandad start at around PLN 69 and reach around PLN 210, and in the whole category half cost up to roughly PLN 105. The guide merino or bamboo socks helps you choose between the two, you can check his shoe size in the sock size chart, and the sets meant only for him are in gifts for grandad.

We usually ship within 1–2 business days, to an InPost parcel locker for PLN 12.99 or by courier for PLN 16.99, and delivery is free from PLN 199. You have 14 days to return an item.
