Stockings
Stockings are separate leg coverings reaching the thigh, worn with a garter belt or with a self-supporting, silicone top. Unlike pantyhose, they don't have a panty part, so they are cooler and don't compress the abdomen - this is a practical argument, in addition to the obvious one.
Self-supporting models stay up thanks to a silicone band sewn into the top edge. For it to work, the skin of the thigh must be clean and dry: moisturizing lotion just before putting them on is the most common reason for stockings slipping down. For fuller thighs, choose models with a wider, double-row band.
Stockings with a garter belt require the belt to be matched to the waist circumference and have a reinforced edge at the top for attaching clips. The size of stockings is chosen based on height and thigh circumference - the manufacturer's chart is more important here than clothing size.
The denier (DEN) thickness works the same as with pantyhose: up to 20 DEN are sheer versions, from 40 DEN they become opaque and matte. Wash by hand in lukewarm water, dry flat. Free delivery from PLN 199, returns within 14 days.
