In this category, you'll find tights from the Marilyn brand and other manufacturers – from thin, almost invisible summer models to thick, opaque tights for winter. Marilyn is a Polish brand specializing in tights and stockings.

What does DEN mean?

DEN refers to yarn thickness. The higher the number, the thicker and more opaque the tights:

  • 8–20 DEN – thin, transparent, for dresses and skirts on warmer days and for office attire.
  • 30–40 DEN – semi-opaque, versatile for spring and autumn.
  • 50–100 DEN and more – opaque, warm, often made of microfiber, for colder months.

Types

In addition to smooth tights in nude and black, we offer patterned models, fishnets, shaping tights with slimming briefs, and plus-size models. For each product, we provide the thickness, composition, and manufacturer's size chart, based on height and weight – this is the most reliable way to ensure the tights don't slip down or are too short.

How to extend their life

Wash tights by hand or in a laundry bag at a low temperature, and put them on slowly, starting from the rolled-up leg. Many models are available in packs. Delivery for orders over PLN 199 is free.

Tights are described by their density in DEN – this is the mass of yarn in grams per 9,000 meters. The higher the number, the thicker and less sheer the product: 8-20 DEN is for summer, 20-40 DEN is versatile for transitional months, 40-70 DEN is opaque, and above 100 DEN is for winter, often with an admixture of cotton or wool.

Besides density, construction matters. Models with reinforced panties and flat seams are more comfortable for all-day wear, reinforced feet extend durability in high-heeled shoes, and a wide waistband doesn't roll down. Tights with Lycra retain their shape better and don't "bag" at the knees.

The collection also includes stockings and some knee-highs, with Anmar, Legs, and Conte dominating among the brands. We have separately grouped individual densities – for example, 20 DEN and 40 DEN.

Choose your size according to your height and weight from the manufacturer's chart, not according to your clothing size. Tights that are too small wear out faster in the crotch, and those that are too large wrinkle at the ankle. Wash them in a laundry bag, at 30 degrees, after removing jewelry from your hands.

If you frequently damage tights, check two things: the condition of your nails when putting them on, and the inside of your shoes. A loose insole or a rough seam in the shoe upper will rub the fabric in the same spot with each use, regardless of the quality of the product itself.
