Bras 80C

We have 175 models in this size: 80 refers to the underbust circumference in centimeters, and the letter C indicates the cup size, which is the difference between the bust circumference and the underbust circumference.

Sister sizes for 80C: 75D, 85B. If the 80C band fits well but the cup is too tight or gapes, try a sister size instead of just changing the letter – the cup volume will remain similar, but the band size will change.

For this cup size, padded and push-up styles work well as they add volume, as do smooth cups for fitted clothing.

Remember that brand sizing varies – we provide the manufacturer's size chart for each product. We have described how to measure on the How to choose your size page. InPost Parcel Locker shipping is PLN 12.99, free for orders over PLN 199, and you have 14 days to return your purchase.

How to find your size

Sister sizes for 80C: 75D, 85B. If 80C holds well around the band but the cup digs in or gapes, reach for a sister size instead of changing only the letter — cup volume stays similar while the band changes.

At this cup size, padded and push-up models work well because they add volume, as do smooth cups under fitted clothes.

Remember that size grids differ between brands — we publish the manufacturer's chart with every product. We have explained how to measure on our How to find your size page. Parcel locker delivery is PLN 12.99, free from PLN 199, and you have 14 days to return.

80C is the size for an underbust measurement of around 80 centimetres with a C cup. In practice that means a longer band across the back than in a 75 and a slightly bigger cup than the same band with a B - so it is worth thinking in pairs, because band and cup change together.

The most common mistake is buying too large a band and compensating with heavily shortened straps. The effect is the opposite of what you want: the band stops supporting, the weight moves onto your shoulders, and by the end of the day you have neck pain and strap marks. If the band rides up your back in an 80C, check 75D - the same cup volume on a firmer band.

Which style to choose

Which style to pick depends on what you wear on top. A model with a smooth, moulded cup does not show under thin jersey. A lace model with a soft cup is more comfortable all day, but its texture shows under a close-fitting blouse. A wire-free bra works well for travelling and for sleeping. A push-up lifts and brings the breasts together, though at a fuller cup it adds volume you do not always want.

Washing and care

What to watch for when buying? The fastening - do up a new model on the loosest row of hooks. Strap width, because narrow straps at a fuller cup can dig in. Adjustment: you should be able to slide two fingers under a strap. And washing - a bag, fastened hooks, a low temperature and drying flat rather than hanging by one strap.

Frequently asked questions

Is 80C a large size?

It sits in the middle of a typical size grid. It means an underbust measurement of about 80 cm and a C cup.

My band rides up my back in 80C - what should I do?

That usually means the band is too big. Try 75D, a firmer band with a comparable cup volume.

Do narrow straps work with 80C?

At a fuller cup, wider straps are more comfortable - they spread the weight better and do not mark your shoulders.

How should I wash an underwired bra?

In a bag, with the hooks fastened, at up to 30-40 degrees. Dry flat, without twisting the cups.
