Good to know

At 80G the cup is already very roomy and the band of medium length, which makes for a relatively comfortable set-up, provided the construction is right. The difference between the measurements here is close to thirty centimetres, so the bra has to spread the weight across the whole width of the back, not just on the straps.

A good test once it is on is to raise your arms above your head. If the band rides up and goes slack under the bust, the band size is too big, no matter how comfortable it felt standing still. The second test is leaning forward: the breast should stay in the cup without you scooping it back with your hand.

The same volume on a deeper band is in 85F, and on a narrower one in 75G. We have gathered more styles in this range in plus sizes. When washing, use a bag and a temperature of thirty degrees, because with this area of fabric a high temperature takes the elasticity out of the band fastest.

What to look at in this number? The height of the side, because a low side at this volume lets tissue slip towards the underarm. The width of the fastening, because the wider it is, the less it presses into the back. Whether the bottom edge of the cup has a wire sewn in along its whole length, right up to the underarm. And the straps, which with this letter should be at least two centimetres wide.
