Tights 30 DEN
30 DEN is a transitional thickness between summer and opaque tights. DEN is a unit of yarn mass: the number of grams per 9,000 meters of fiber. The higher the value, the thicker the thread, and thus the denser, more matte, and warmer the knit. The leg color is already visibly evened out, but the knit remains semi-transparent. This is a good choice for early autumn and cooler spring days when 20 DEN is too thin and 40 DEN is too warm.
This denier effectively conceals minor skin imperfections without creating the matte, uniform coverage effect found in tights from 40 DEN upwards.
Tights size is determined by height and weight combined, according to the manufacturer's chart – clothing size can be misleading here. Tights that are too small will pull at the crotch and tear faster on the thighs, while those that are too large will wrinkle at the ankle and slip down at the waist. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one: less stressed fabric lasts longer.
