A narrow band here means more work for the band itself: at 70, it is the band, not the straps, that should carry the weight, so it should fit snugly and run straight across the back.

In this collection, size 70C appears in very different constructions, from molded foam cups, through lace models with a horizontal seam, to soft bralettes. With smaller bands, the differences between them are very noticeable, as a shorter band more quickly signals that the construction is poorly chosen.

The most common mistake with this size is choosing a larger band when the underwire digs in.
